Cat litter produced from wood<\/h1>\n

Untreated wood is the perfect raw material for cat litter, because it is naturally antibacterial. Cat litter produced from wood does not need to be fragranced as it exudes a natural wood smell. Clumping litter made from wood fibres<\/h2>\n

COSYCAT is a clumping litter produced purely mechanically from wood. A special manufacturing process<\/a> is used for this. We reduce the wood to chips and turn it into wood fibres. The fibres are then granulated, increasing their absorbency to times their weight. Thanks to this extraordinary absorbency and rapid odour binding, our clumping cat litter<\/a> ensures optimal feline hygiene.<\/p>\n

As soon as the wood fibres come into contact with urine, the outstanding clumping properties of COSYCAT come into play. The moistened wood fibres swell instantly to form a solid clump that does not disintegrate when removed. A few fibres are sufficient to bind all the liquid. The clumps and solids are removed, leaving the remaining clean litter in the tray. This makes our clumping litter extremely economical. Top the toilet up from time to time with fresh litter. A layer roughly 7 centimetres thick is required to permit satisfactory clumping. The litter can remain in the cat toilet for several weeks. After 6 to 8 weeks at the latest the tray should be emptied of litter and cleaned thoroughly.
